Response: And also with you.
Call to Worship:
On this second Sunday of Lent
We come seeking God
In this time of uncertainty in our lives
We come seeking God
Quieting our minds, opening our hearts, and waiting for the mystery of Easter to make itself known
We come to worship God.
Gathering Prayer:
We are here, Loving God, we are gathered at home, on zoom, on facebook and on the radio. We are gathered with our hearts, minds, and souls ready to listen to, to receive your word and to offer our prayers. Come to us as we prepare ourselves for worship. Amen

Prayer of Confession and Assurance of Pardon
Loving God, we open our hearts to you this day, and offer these truths to you. Today, we live in fear that surrounds us, we live in ignorance that dwells in us, we live in doubt that keeps us from enjoying our day to day activities. Help us to find courage, help us to find love, and help us to have faith in you and remind us that you are always with us.
Silence is kept
Assurance of Pardon

Prayers of the People:
The Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
For ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer of Dedication:
God of the wilderness, you helped Abraham and Sarah and you have helped us in so many ways. As we present our morning offerings, we ask that you bless them that they may be used to help others. Bless these gifts. Amen
